I am very pleased with the delivery service and the Penang double futon I received. It was easy to assemble and came really well packed, as not to damage any of the lovely wood.
All in all very good service and value for money.

I chose a futon because I live in a very old house and not a lot goes up the twisty stair case. The room is also used as a work room so I didn't want a bed taking up a lot of space. To that effect I have researched futons a great deal and this one seemed to tick all the boxes for me. Doubt hovered re self assembley, until I telephoned Futons-Direct and heard those reassuring words "If you have any problems just give me a ring." My futon arrived exactly on the day arranged and was very well packed It says on the instructions that it needs two people. Not only did manage to assemble the futon on my own, I didn't need to call for help.
The result is a very high quality solid piece of furniture for the price. As a person with my own business I look for three things, quality, price and service. I am pleased to say I found all three in this company. Oh and by the way , my futon is not only attractive it's very comfortable!
This is our first futon. After looking around we found Futons Direct (on our doorstep) who offered a great range of futons, in a choice of designs, colours and fabrics and at attractive prices. Ordering and delivery was straight forward and efficient. It took about 45 minutes to assemble and is currently being used as our TV sofa---awaiting a guest to use it as a bed.
By BM, Eynsham - 22 Feb 2010A real step up from the original futon in design, looks and comfort. Good to go and try them out at the showroom in Eynsham. Because it's flat packed we even managed to our surprise to take it away in our saloon car. Easy to assemble and convert to a bed. The rubber wood is very well finished and it's nice to know it is more environmentally friendly than other hard woods.
