It is now possible to order a futon frame only online from us, previously they could only be ordered by phone. It is always cheaper to order a frame and futon mattress together (there is a discount when both items are ordered together) but our futon frame only prices are still good value and there is a discount off the internet price for collected items. For our online payments we use Sagepay, which while not as well known as paypal, is used by 800,000 UK businesses. Sagepay offers 100% secure, simple to use systems and their online transaction systems are at the highest security levels. Their systems and ours are PC1 Level 1 compliant and we arere checked every year by our merchant bank .

At this time of year we always attempt to figure out what the coming year will bring in terms of customer demand and the ability of our suppliers to meet that need. This year things are more difficult because of the recession and lack of first time buyers and general lack of cash in people’s pockets. It seems that the futon market is splitting and returning to what it was 10-12 years ago when big chains sold thousands of unsuitable products every week, most of the suppliers who made these are no longer in business and their retailers have moved on to other products, then there was a period where customers searched out and understood that for a futon to be practical and comfortable it needs to be done properly, now with our economic problems a futon in many peoples mind has become almost a disposable item. Sadly there are some price increases on the way, but considering how inflation is going in the outside world (the world outside the futon world) this shouldn’t be a surprise. We will continue to maintain the quality and comfort level of our futon sofabeds and futon mattresses, unlike certain companies who are flooding the UK futon market with hundreds of unsuitable, uncomfortable futons, please remember than a properly made futon is comfortable and durable, a cheap poor quality futon will only have a short, unhappy life and need replacing very quickly.
